Submission Process

The 29th International IEEE ICECS 2022  in Electronic Circuit and System (https://2022.ieee-icecs.org/) in Glasgow city on 24th to 26th October 2022. 

There is a Young Professional (YP) track (https://epapers2.org/icecs2022/ESR/login.php?epsc=YP57$) for early career researchers/ post graduate students. YP and PG students can submit two-page paper for YP session and deadline is 26th August 2022. All accepted paper will be published in IEEE Xplore.

There are a few prizes for best posters and papers presented by YP and female researchers to encourage YP and female attendees.

 If you are interested to submit a poster or paper for ICECS, please make your paper ready for submission by 26th August 2022.

      Dr Firdaus Muhammad Sukki

      File 2701232Dr. Muhammad-Sukki (PhD, CEng, MIET, ACGI) is a lecturer at the School of Engineering and Built Environment, Edinburgh Napier University. His research interest is in the area of renewable energy technology and policies and sustainable resources. He has secured multiple grants from the UK and international funding agencies such as Innovate UK, Scottish Institute for Remanufacturing (SIR), Scottish Funding Council, British Council – Newton Fund, Chilean Research Council (CONICYT), Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia etc. He also carried out a number of non-technical research including market trend and financial analysis related to renewable technologies for various countries. He has published numerous articles in high impact factor journals (e.g. Nature, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, Applied Energy, etc.), as well as presenting in various conferences related to his area. Prior to joining the academia, he was a communication engineer in Malaysia’s largest telecommunication company.

      In this presentation we shall provide a high level overview of the Verification Techniques employed by our research and development teams, in verifying complex Interface Controller IP. The presentation shall cover topics such as Code Coverage, UVM, Formal Verification, Verification IP and Gate Level simulations.
